ToornendPartners has been involved since 2016 as a consultant, project manager and building supervisor during the phased renovation and restoration of parts of the unique building complex of the Teylers Museum. The museum’s integral vision for the future of the building is to make more areas accessible to the public. Upon completion of the renovation and restoration of the Lorentz Lab, now further restoration continues on the Pieters Teyler House, which was named after the museum’s founder and the location where the museum originated in the 18th century The monumental rooms have not only been restored, but also equipped with the most modern techniques, opening the building to the public in the most sustainable way.
