The borough of Amsterdam-Zuidoost has decided that its Management and Enforcement departments will share a new building. ToornendPartners has first investigated which locations are the most suitable. Subsequently, ToornendPartners has drawn up the project brief in collaboration with the future users and then taken care of the selection of the design team. The design and execution were tendered Europe-wide.
The plan provides for an office area and a large parking garage for garbage trucks with a parking deck for cars on top of it. ToornendPartners has guided the design process and implementation. As a subproject, ToornendPartners has guided the realization of temporary accommodation and large-scale relocations. The entire project was delivered on schedule and well within budget.
