ToornendPartners has been involved over the years as a consultant on various issues relating to the two locations, including the planned renovations of the buildings. Among other issues ToornendPartners’ advises the Frans Hals Museum and the Municipality of Haarlem about their collective ambitions concerning maintenance issues and the underlying contracts. Joint consultation on specific topics concerning the museum such as climate conditions, security and quality of depot facilities also take place. Outlines for this are currently being drawn up between the municipality and the museum organization concerning the division of tasks and responsibilities as well as the future maintenance and management of both locations.
