At the request of Erfgoedlabo, ToornendPartners conducted a feasibility study for a future collective depot for some of the heritage stakeholders in Leuven, such as the Royal University, the City Archives, Museum M, Kunstpatrimonium, Parcum, Kadoc and Erfgoedcel. ToornendPartners made an inventory of the existing art collection and based on that, determined the conditions for the space and storage needed for the collection. The space requirements, were developed in an area schedule including the additional facilities such as workshops, photo labs and research areas. ToornendPartners also created diagrams visualizing the relationship between different aspects of the renovation and steps in the process of reallocating the available space. An indication of the investment and construction costs was also provided.
