The Scenery Workshop of The National Opera (DNO) in Amsterdam produces the majority of the scenery works for internationally acclaimed productions of DNO, for co-productions as well an other companies. The workshop building has in many aspects reached the end of it’s technical and functional life span. ToornendPartners supported and assisted DNO in this entire process, starting back in 2006 with feasibility studies and strategic asset management advice. The going concern refurbishment will ensure the continuation of this key element in the production process for the next 25 years. Early 2010 the design team has been selected and the design stage started. The completion of the last stages was as expected in June 2013.
